Thank you for visiting our section. I’m excited to be part of a group where safety professionals can network and connect. ASSP’s WISE group supports members and the safety profession through education, mentorship, networking, collaboration, research, and innovation. You can join WISE by selecting it as a common interest group during your annual registration.

All Mid-Michigan WISE events are open to everyone—men and women are welcome. We host networking events, technical presentations, and community outreach throughout the year.

Past Events:

April 4, 2025: Technical session with Tracy Hazel from Advanced Training and Consulting on performing workplace audits to prepare for a MIOSHA partnership through their Michigan Voluntary Protection Program (MVPP).

October 24, 2024: Food drive on behalf of WISE to benefit the Greater Lansing Food Bank. We had a pizza party at One North in Lansing and raised 379 pounds of food which provides 365 meals to families throughout the Lansing area.
