Chapter Officers

The Mid-Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals was chartered in 1947 as the Lansing Chapter.  The name was changed to the Mid-Michigan Chapter in 2017. Our Chapter serves safety professionals located in Mid-Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.  Our members include safety managers in construction and manufacturing, engineers, industrial hygienists, students, and others who are interested in promoting safety.  We hold four technical meetings throughout the year with a variety of speakers, tours, and other events that promote the advancement of the safety profession.  Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in improving the safety of their workplace or community.
