Position Summary:
The EHSQ Manager provides leadership for Canam Industrial’s Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ)
programs. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for developing and maintaining the
company’s EHSQ Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and
promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Project Managers and Field
Superintendents, the EHSQ Manager supports the successful execution of industrial automation, electrical power
distribution, data center, and automotive installation projects.

Responsibilities:
Environmental Health & Safety:
- Develop, implement, and maintain company EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI standards, and customer safety requirements.
- Conduct periodic job site audits, inspections, and safety assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Develop and coordinate employee safety training and maintain required training records.
- Support Project Managers and Field Superintendents with hazard assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and
- regulatory compliance.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Manage environmental compliance activities, including hazardous materials, waste management, and spill
- prevention.
Quality Management:
- Develop and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Establish quality standards, inspection procedures, and document control processes.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support customer audits.
- Review project documentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality-related issues.
- Monitor quality performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Construction Management, or a
- related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
- Experience managing quality systems within industrial construction, electrical contracting, manufacturing, or
- automation.
- Experience supporting industrial automation, automotive manufacturing, or data center projects is preferred.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction
- First Aid/CPR Certification
Knowledge & Skills:
- Working knowledge of OSHA, MIOSHA, NFPA 70E, and industrial safety practices.
- Understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and standard business software.
- Working Conditions:
- Office-based position with periodic visits to active customer job sites.
- Up to 25% travel to project locations.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely access industrial and construction environments
